President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja for Europe on Sunday, August 30, 2026, to begin a 3-week annual vacation.

His first stop is London, United Kingdom, according to a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

Onanuga said the trip is part of Tinubu’s annual leave and will be a “working vacation.”

The President is expected to return to Nigeria after the three weeks to join the campaign for the January 2027 general elections.
