Former United States Presidential Nominee, Hillary Clinton, has called on President Muhammadu Buhari to “stop killing young #EndSARS protesters.”
In a tweet Tuesday night, she also called on the Nigerian Army to stop the killings.
Clinton tweeted with the hashtag #StopNigeriaGovernment that has now started trending on Twitter.
“I’m calling on @mbuhari and the @hqnigerianarmy to stop killing young #EndSARS protesters. #StopNigeriaGovernment,” the democrat tweeted.
She made the call on the heels of shooting at Lekki Toll Plaza in Lagos State.
On Tuesday night, soldiers shot at unarmed protesters who sat down peacefully at the toll gate.
