The Standards Organisation of Nigeria, (SON) has unveiled a new official portrait of its Director General, Mallam Farouk Salim.
The portrait therefore, replaced the one earlier used in the first two years and seven months of his administration at SON.
Assistant Director/Head of Media, Mrs. Maryam Khanisary revealed the portrait through an email posted on Sunday.
Khanisary said that the new portrait was for use in media reports and news materials.
SON’s Head of Media said: “This is to inform you that the Director General and Chief Executive of SON, Mallam Farouk Salim has a new Official Portrait for use in news reports.
“In view of this, the Organisation wishes to introduce the new Official Portrait to be used in News materials.”
The unveiling therefore rendered the former portrait obsolete, as all media practitioners were enjoined to use the new one henceforth.
