Woe unto me!
If I refused to praise You,
Immortal God, invisible God,
He hides Himself in glory.

He sends on assignment,
He gets the job done Himself,
His invisible hands control the seen and unseen,
The father to the fatherless,
The husband to the widow,
A guest in the house,
Yet provides food for the host.

He walks on the sea,
Yet not touched by seawater,
He walks in the inferno,
Even His raiment isn’t scorched.

When mortals disgrace stares at me in December,
He shows Himself so strong in January,
He put a new song in my mouth,
You are the God of the “suddenlies”.

He opens His eyes,
The world wakes up,
He closes His eyes,
The world sleeps.

The Sun is His raiment,
The moon is His garments,
He hides Himself in mystery and glory.
To You be the glory, honour and adorations.

Special dedication to Ojeifo Suffy since 1984 and still counting.

OJ, one of the very few that loves me genuinely. A true friend and a worthy brother.
Even when I failed him; he didn’t give up on me.
He has a reason to keep holding my hand.

It’s an honour to have you in my life.

God’s hands of perfection shall rest on you and your household in Jesus name.
