Socio-Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) has launched a Human Rights Complaints and Documentation Centre, to monitor, document and receive complaints and cases of human rights violations across Nigeria, and to promote access of victims and their families to justice and effective remedies.
According to the organization, the platform would enable Nigerian citizens to share their stories and details of human rights violations and abuses anonymously.
SERAP will also look carefully at any such report and consider appropriate interventions to address the problem.
Through this platform, victims and witnesses would also receive advice and assistance.
Victims and witnesses will enjoy absolute anonymity and SERAP will treat with strict confidentiality any information received.
