The Senate has confirmed the appointment of Dr Bernard Doro as minister by President Bola Tinubu.

He also pledged to strengthen collaboration among government agencies to eliminate duplication and improve outcomes.

“I will create synergy amongst the different agencies of government and ensure that we are able to reduce duplication and achieve results. I believe that technology can help us to be able to achieve that,” Doro added.

Senate President Godswill Akpabio, thereafter, put the nomination to a voice vote, and it was unanimously approved by the lawmakers.

He holds degrees in Pharmacy and Law, an MBA in IT-driven business strategy and a Master’s degree in Advanced Clinical Practice.

Beyond his professional credentials, the new minister is known for his involvement in youth mentorship and social impact programmes both at home and within the Nigerian diaspora circle.
