Right Foundation of Life Int’l School (RFLIS) has received accolades for hosting its Cultural Day 2026, themed “Celebrating Our Unity in Cultural Diversity”. The event which was held on Friday 27 Match, brought together students, parents, and special guests to showcase Nigeria’s rich cultural heritage.

Chairman of the occasion, Princewill Irabor, commended the school’s management for organizing the event, emphasizing the importance of teaching children their mother tongue and cultural traditions. He encouraged parents to instill values such as respect for elders and avoidance of drug abuse, highlighting that these are integral to Nigerian culture.

Director of the school, Mr. Austin Peter, welcomed guests and stressed that the event aimed to promote societal values and appreciation for Nigeria’s diverse traditions.

He said, “I want to really appreciate all of you for coming here. I want to also say that culture is necessary in our community. We are going to display all the existence culture in Nigeria, we are going to exhibit all the things necessary for you to know how beautiful is our culture in Nigeria.”

Students showcased various cultural dances, including Edo, Esan, Urhobo/Isoko, Hausa/Fulani, Yoruba and Igbo, among others. Local foods and traditional attire were also displayed, highlighting the country’s rich cultural tapestry.

Parents, including Mr. Destiny Agho and Mrs. Odion, praised the event, noting improvements in their children’s language skills and cultural awareness. The event featured cultural processions, newscasting, and drama performances, promoting unity and cultural exchange.

RFLIS is located at Dr. Iyayi Effionayi Road, Opposite Rain Oil filling station, along Benin-Auchi expressway.
