The publisher of VERACITY Desk (veracitydesk.com.ng), an online magazine and public affairs commentator, Prince Emmanuel Ajibulu, has congratulated Mr Eze Anaba, the President of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), on his election at the just-concluded convention of the Guild.
Ajibulu’s congratulatory message to the editor of Vanguard newspaper, whom he described as his mentor, was conveyed in a statement he personally signed on Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Abuja.
While expressing good wishes for Mr Anaba on the attainment of his latest feat, Ajibulu equally congratulated those who emerged as members of the Standing Committee.
“Sir, your election attests to the patriotism, hardwork and contributions made in adding value to the media practice as well as your mentorship of many dedicated and highly disciplined professionals of whom I happened to be one. My great mentor, you are a pride to Nigerians, particularly the aspiring youths of our nation,” he said.
The infopreneur further submitted that Anaba’s spirit of resilience and determination to succeed amid challenges earned him the latest prestigious feat.
He, as well, expressed optimism that the NGE President would be efficient and effective in the new assignment and also protect the interest of the journalism profession no matter whose ox was gored.
Accordingly, Ajibulu noted that Anaba’s “trajectory in media industry and his passion for service, sense of patriotism and capacity as a cerebral editor of a national newspaper with good sense of judgement in content processing and management are quite remarkable.”
