Protesters on Thursday embarked on a peaceful protest at branches of Sterling Bank in Abuja.
A report by NATIONAL WAVES said that the protest had been on for two days as angry customers shut down the Bank’s branches in Abuja over what they described as the bank’s fraudulent, unwholesome and unethical practices.
They also alleged victimisation and fraud against Miden Systems Limited and other customers of the bank.
But like Wednesday, no official of the bank agreed to address the protesters, forcing them to shut down the bank business.
In a video made available to NATIONAL WAVES which the news medium uploaded on its site, the protesters were seen chanting various songs, calling the bank and staff members unprintable names with banners reflecting their anger.
