Bayelsa United Feeders walked away with the winner’s prize of ₦1,000,000, while runners-up Brazil FC received ₦500,000.

With this victory, Bayelsa United Feeders join previous Yenagoa LGA champions: Okoroma United, Movers FC of Otuasega, Kolobiriowei FC of Bolou Orua, Odi United of Odi, NDU Oilers FC of Amassoma, Mini FC of Minibie, and Osunmabio FC.

The Mayor of Yenagoa City, Hon. Bulodiseye Ndiwari, praised the tournament for keeping youths away from social vices and serving as a key platform for talent discovery in the state.

He commended Governor Senator Douye Diri and the Central Organising Committee led by Mr. Ono Akpe for their investment in youth development and pledged continued collaboration from the council.

Director General of the tournament, Mr. Ono Akpe, described the LGA finals across the eight local government areas as entertaining and a clear justification of the governor’s commitment to youth development.

He announced that the women’s version of the tournament will run alongside the Round of 32, with the grand finale scheduled for Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Samson Siasia Stadium.

Akpe also highlighted a new rule allowing teams qualifying for the Round of 32 to add five fresh players to strengthen their squads for the knockout stages.

Victorious coach Dimie Ineididie lauded his players for their determination, saying the win has opened a new chapter for the team.

With all eight LGA finals now concluded, attention shifts to the Round of 32, which begins on Wednesday, April 22, 2026, across various centres in Bayelsa State.
