Journalist and public affairs analyst, Prince Kelly Udebhulu, has been elevated from the position of Deputy Director to that of Director of Media of the 2024 governorship campaign council of the Edo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He is to provide media visibility for the electioneering of Senator Monday Okpebholo (a.k.a Akpakomiza), APC’s standard bearer in the September 21, 2024 election.
The elevation of Prince Udebhulu to the position, followed the controversial exit of John Mayaki, a former spokesperson to the outgoing governor of the state, Mr. Godwin Obaseki.
Mr. Mayaki, who also held similar position in the last governorship election, with Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu as APC standard bearer, had exited the position for inexplicable reasons.
As a Director of the media sub-comnittee, now renamed Communication and National Orientation, Prince Udebhulu, an active APC chieftain from Urohi Ward 8 of Esan West local government area of the state is to spearhead the media and public affairs business of the campaign and election.
Also elevated on the sub-comnittee is Mr. Victor Oshioke to Deputy Director, while Omorhienrhien Nogie and Comrade Paschal Ogie remain Assistant Director and Secretary, respectively.
The changes were signed and made known to the press by Mr Joseph Ughioke, Secretary to the State’s Governorship Campaign Council.
