(Press Release) Group applauds House of Reps’ Speaker over appointments

The APC NATIONAL INTEGRITY MOVEMENT (ANIM) has applauded the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Right Hon. Tajudeen Abass, on the appointments of their members in his team of the tenth National Assembly.

Expressing its appreciation in a letter signed by its Leader, Sadiq Fakai, the group said the appointments “reflected the desire of a leader to be in tune with the constitutional importance of federal character and one that is ready to accommodate all,not minding tribe,religion or ethnicity.”

“Leadership is all about service to the people,and you have started on a right footing with Nigerians watching with great expectations,” the group wrote.

Vouching for the characters of their members, Dr Yetunde Adeniji and Comrade Mark Harmaton, who were appointed Senior Special Assistants, the group said the Speaker did not make a mistake, as the appointees were well on top of their different callings, socially, politically and professionally.

Like Oliver Twist, the group appealed to the Speaker to still pry his eagle eyes on them as they parade an array of thorough-bred professionals and grassroots politicians angling to contribute their quota to the development of their fatherland.

ANIM urged the Speaker to “remain committed to the ideals of democracy as we applaud the determination,vision and dedication you have demonstrated as an astute political strategist,brilliant administration and energetic grassroots mobilizer,who has continued to serve as a fine bridge builder.”
