Manchester United recorded the largest revenue increase among Premier League clubs after climbing from 15th in 2024/25 to 3rd in 2025/26.

United received £191.5 million (about N352.5 billion) in central distributions, up £55.3 million (N101.7 billion) from £136.2 million (N250.6 billion) the previous season. The jump was the biggest of any club.

Arsenal were the league’s highest earners with £198.7 million (N365.7 billion) after winning the title for the first time in 22 years, up from £171.5 million (N315.6 billion) in 2024/25. Manchester City took £192.5 million (N354.3 billion) for second place.

Aston Villa earned £182.6 million (N336.1 billion) for 4th place, while Liverpool dropped from 1st to 5th and received £181.8 million (N334.6 billion).

Bournemouth, Sunderland, Brighton, Brentford and Fulham all posted higher earnings after improved league positions. Newly promoted Sunderland made £168.2 million (N309.6 billion) after finishing 7th.

Chelsea earned £162.6 million (N299.3 billion) for 10th place, down slightly from last year’s 4th-place payout. Newcastle fell from 5th to 12th and saw revenue drop to £154.5 million (N284.3 billion).

At the bottom, relegated Burnley still received £118.1 million (N217.4 billion), while Wolves got £117.7 million (N216.7 billion), underscoring the scale of Premier League broadcast revenue.

The league distributed over £3 billion (N5.5 trillion) across all 20 clubs. United’s 3rd-place finish also secured Champions League qualification for 2026/27.
