– The directive is in compliance with the President’s letter and the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation’s formal reversion of mobility of procurement officers to the Bureau of Public Procurement.
– The Bureau is creating a Procurement Management System (POMS) for procurement officers in all federal procuring entities and updating records accordingly.

■ Registration Requirements
– All procurement officers in federal procuring entities are required to fill out the Google form with the required details, accessible via: https://bit.ly/proc-data
– Accounting Officers (CEs/DGs/Equivalent) must ensure that the Directors of Human Resource fill out the attached form, duly endorsed, and submit it to the Bureau.
■ Consequences of Non-Compliance
– Failure to comply with the directive may lead to sanctions in line with Public Service Rules and other relevant federal government policies and extant rules.
■ Action Required
– Chief executive officers, directors general, and their equivalent in procuring entities are enjoined to bring the directive to the attention of concerned officers and ensure strict compliance.
