The Lagos State Police Command has disclosed that the command has yet to receive the autopsy result of the late Afrobeats star, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.
Recall that the 27-year-old singer died on September 12 in controversial circumstances.
Nigerians demanded an autopsy to be carried out to ascertain the real cause of his death.
The singer’s body (Mohbad) was exhumed from where it was buried in Ikorodu, Lagos state by the Police on September 21 for an autopsy.
On October 6, the state police command announced the autopsy had been concluded while results were being awaited.
The spokesperson of the command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said the command had yet to receive the result of the autopsy.
“The autopsy report has not been given to us. Some people have been carrying rumours that it’s ready. It’s one thing for it to be ready, it’s another thing for it to be given to us officially – that we would receive and sign a copy that we have received it. So, we don’t work with rumours, we work with facts.” he said.
