The Speaker of the House, Rep. Femi Gbajabiamila on a sad note announced the call to glory of Rep. Omolafe Isaac Adebayo who until his death represented Akure North/ Akure South Federal constituency in Ondo state. The sad event took place on Saturday, August 15th, 2021.
As is the custom in the parliament, members rose for a minute silence, and prayers were offered for the repose of the soul of late Rep. Adebayo, after which the House in line with its custom; adjourned plenary.
