Nigerian crossdresser, James Brown, has visited his colleague, Idris Okuneye, popularly called Bobrisky, at the Kirikiri Correctional Centre in Lagos.
Bobrisky is serving a six-month prison sentence over abuse of the naira notes.
James Brown, who went alongside some other individuals, disclosed his visit in a post on his Instagram page on Friday.
He wrote, “I went to Kirikiri prison to visit Bobrisky to know if she is alright.”
In April, the Nigerian Correctional Service, in a statement signed by its spokesperson, Rotimi Oladokun, disclosed that Bobrisky was remanded in a male custodial centre and observed all regulations and rules in place at the centre, especially concerning the dress code.
It was also reported that the controversial crossdresser was treated equally like other inmates in the facility. [The Punch]
