At the meeting with Connected Development, on Wednesday, the Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, discussed potential collaboration in sharing information on constituency projects and deepening the Open Government Partnership (OGP) process at the sub-national level.
As the co-chair of the OGP, the minister expressed his willingness to collaborate with Connected Development in making government more open and transparent and to press for more citizen engagement at all levels.
Prince Agba noted that constituency projects were monitored and evaluated by the Ministry of Special Duties and also highlighted ongoing plans by the Ministry of Budget and National Planning towards the development of “The Eye Mark” web app, which will be used to appraise projects by Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs).
