The Petroleum and Natural Gas Senior Staff Association of Nigeria (PENGASSAN) has condemned shootings of peaceful #Endsars protesters by armed military men in the country.
In a statement by its President, Festus Osifo, and General Secretary, Lumumba. I. Okugbawa Comrade, the union said the incident fell short of any standard of civilization globally of handling peaceful protests in any democratic system.
The union called on the Government of President, Muhammadu Buhari to provide adequate security for the protesters in line with democratic norms and to immediately produce the perpetrators of the dastardly act.
The Union added that failure to do so, it would convene an emergency meeting of its National Executive Council (NEC) to review the happenings in the Nation with a view to withdrawing its services nationwide.
