The National Working Committee of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has nominated some party members to serve on the Electoral Committee to conduct Special State Congress in Ekiti State.
According to the National Organising Secretary, Umar M. Bature, the Committee is mandated to elect the party’s gubernatorial candidate for the upcoming governorship election in Ekiti State.
Bature said Chief Udom Emmanuel will serve as the chairman of the committee while Toby Okechukwu will serve as the secretary.
Other members of the committee, include Erelu Olusola Obada, Hon. Michael Mku and Ibrahim Khalid.
He said the exercise is scheduled for Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at the State Capital, Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State.
