The chairman of the Abia State chapter of the party, Abraham Amah, has confirmed the suspension of Senator Adolphus Wabara by his ward in the state.
By his suspension, Wabara’s occupation of the position of Chairman of Board of Trustees, BoT, of the PDP is put in abeyance.
His suspension was announced by his ward in Abia State on Tuesday and was linked to alleged anti-party activities.
Reports said that the suspension was also approved by the State Working Committee (SWC) of the party in Abia during a meeting presided over by State Chairman Abraham Amah.
Amah confirmed Wabara’s suspension and stated that more details would be shared later.
“Yes, it is true. He has been suspended,” Amah said in confirming the disciplinary action against Wabara, a former president of the Senate.
