The founder of the Salvation Ministries, Pastor David Ibiyeomie, says he once gave $1 million as offering in church at a time he had no house.
Ibiyeomie disclosed this during one of his sermons at his ministry.
The popular cleric, during the sermon, said he made the huge financial offering to the church when he had no house or landed property to his name.
He stated that only the accountant knew the sum he gave, adding that others in the church, including his wife, were not aware of the offering until he came to give his testimony.
Ibiyeomie added that his unreserved gift to God paved way for him to subsequently making him one of the richest pastors on earth.
He said: “When I gave one million dollars as offering, I had no house. I gave it on a Sunday, my wife was not even aware until she heard my testimony.
“It was only the Church accountant that knew as a privilege of his office when he saw her volume of money that came in.”
