Former Senate Chief Whip, Senator Rowland Owie, has congratulated former President Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida, GCFR, on his 83rd birthday.

The infrastructure projects initiated under his leadership, including the iconic Third Mainland Bridge and the dualization of major highways, stand as lasting testaments to his dedication to Nigeria’s progress.
“Beyond economic reforms, General Babangida’s contributions to Nigeria’s social and political landscapes are undeniable. His mass mobilization initiative, MAMSER, and the establishment of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) underscored his deep understanding of civic responsibility and public safety.
