Former Chief Whip of the Senate and member of the PDP National Executive Committee (NEC), Senator Rowland Owie, has expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all members of the PDP in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area and the entire 18 Local Government Areas of Edo State for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to the party.
Owie said: “Our collective efforts have undoubtedly contributed immensely to the success we achieved in the just concluded State House of Assembly Election.”
Senator Owie said “as they celebrate their victory, it is important to remember that no person pierces his or her eyes because he or she does not want to see a provocative neighbour.
“In other words, we must not let our differences divide us or distract us from our goal of rebuilding the PDP in Edo State.
“We must, thus, work together, support each other, and ensure that our party is stronger than ever before.
“I also want to use this medium to remind the winners and all stakeholders in the party that ingratitude, which is regarded as the younger sibling of murder, remains the greatest crime against God and humanity. We must, consequently, never forget to appreciate and acknowledge the contributions of everyone who worked hard for the success of our party.
“Finally, let us remain mindful of the fact that the God who sees the hearts of all beings will reward us all according to our deeds and continually bless the works of our hands.
“Once again, I thank you all for your hard work and commitment to the resurgence of the PDP in Edo State.Congratulations.”
