The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has declared Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, as the winner of the March 18 gubernatorial election in the state.
According to the results announced by INEC on Monday morning, Mohammed polled 525,280 votes to defeat Air Marshall Saddique Abubakar of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who scored 432,272 votes.
Abubakar is the immediate past Chief of Air Staff.
