The newly-appointed Commissioner for Water Resources, Hon Sunday Oroniyi, has solicited the support and cooperation of members of staff of the Ministry to enable him to succeed in his new assignment.
The Commissioner stated this during the maiden meeting he had with the management team and staff members of the Ministry.
Hon. Oroniyi explained that it was time for all to come together and work as a team to achieve the desired result.
The Commissioner said the administration of Senator Ademola Adeleke was ready to support the Ministry to fulfill its core mandates, explaining that the welfare of Civil Servants was the number one priority in the Governor’s 5 points integral action plan, which he maintained, would be fulfilled.
The commissioner who gave the assurance that all challenges facing the ministry would be carefully addressed, charged members of staff to come up with good ideas that could improve and boost the ministry’s IGR.
While welcoming the newly appointed commissioner, the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry, Engr. Olusola Ajao appreciated him and prayed that the Lord would guide and direct him.
Eng.Ajao promised that the Ministry and other Agencies are ready to key into the Development Agenda of the Governor.
He added that the Civil Service would continue to give unflinching support to the present administration.
