Osun NURTW enjoins members to be law abiding as Fakorede becomes acting state chairman

The National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Osun State Council, has advised members of the union in the state to continue to maintain peace, unity and be law abiding in their day-to-day activities.

This was made known in a press statement issued after the state executive council meeting by the union’s state chairman, Chief Olalekan Folorunso Salami and made available to newsmen.

Similarly, the statement informed that in order to allow the already existing peace to continue in the union, the incumbent chairman of the union in the state, Chief Olalekan Folorunso Salami has stepped aside.

After stepping aside, Comrade Fakorede Rauf has been chosen as the state acting chairman by all the state executives council.

Comrade Fakorede Rauf in the statement thanked leaders and members for chosen him and promised to work towards the development of members and entire union in the state, saying welfare of members would be his priority.

The statement which described Osun NURTW as one family enjoined all members of the union not to foment trouble, and that they should be law abiding and go about their normal business.

The Osun NURTW further used the medium to congratulates the governor-elect, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his victory, saying God will uphold and guide him as he pilots the affairs of the union the state.
