The Chairman of Ifelodun Local Government, Hon. Hassan Kamorudeen Okanlawon on Monday reiterated his call for all eligible voters in the council area to vote massively for Governor Adegboyega Oyetola in the coming governorship election.
The council boss made the call at the Secretariat complex while inaugurating the Executive Council of Community Development Council (CDC) in Ifelodun Local Government headquarters, Ikirun.
Speaking earlier in his welcome address, the Chairman of CDC, Comrade Muideen Bolanle, who was re-elected commended the state governor and the council Chairman for their various developmental programmes aimed at transforming the lives of the residents, adding that to whom much is given, much is expected.
He therefore pledged their continuous support for the governor.
The highlight of the programme, included special prayer session said for the governor, the chairman and the entire citizenry; certificates of office were also presented to the CDC executive members.
Present at the occasion were the Secretary to the local government, Wale Olatunde, Rasaq Atoyebi, Kilani Musibau, Taofik Ibikunle, the council manager, Mrs Ikeola Adedeji, the head of department of admin and general services, Mr Oluyemi Benson, the head of department of budget, research, planning and statistics, Mrs Adewumi Abigael, the head of department of works and housing Ogundoyin and her counterpart in the department of social development, information, education, sports and culture, Alhaja Motunrayo Solagbade.
Others are the internal auditor, Mr Adeniran Emmanuel, Mr Oladotun Bayo, Mrs Joke Oyerinde, Mrs Ankama Afolabi and others.
