Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom has sent warm greetings to the Rivers State Governor, Barrister Nyesom Wike on his birthday.
In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Nathaniel Ikyur, Governor Ortom expressed happiness over Governor Wike’s birthday celebration and said he was proud to call him a friend and brother.
He emphasised that the Rivers Governor had “shown through character and resilience that speaking truth to power is an essential ingredient to the social, political and economic re-engineering of the society.”
“You have remained unshakable and constant like the northern star in the pursuit of truth, fairness and justice to all,” he quoted Ortom to have said.
The Governor prayed that the God Almighty would grant Governor Wike good health, wisdom and courage in the years to come.
