Samuel Ortom, the former governor of Benue State, has expressed his deepest condolences to Henry Umoru, Vanguard Newspapers’ Assistant Editor for Politics, in the wake of the devastating loss of his revered mother, Mrs. Celestina Ogbakhena Aboda and his beloved wife, Mrs. Bridget Umoru.

The former Benue governor acknowledged that the loss of these two remarkable women, whose companionship and wise counsel were invaluable, had left an irreplaceable void in Henry Umoru’s heart.

Nevertheless, Ortom urged him to find solace in the belief that their passing was an act of God, recognizing that even as they were cherished on Earth, the Almighty had called them to a higher purpose.

“As you lay your beloved wife and mother to rest, we fervently pray that God Almighty will grant you, the entire Umoru family, and the Ikpeshi community in Akoko Edo Local Government Area of Edo State, the strength to endure this painful and irreparable loss,” Ortom conveyed.

In his closing remarks, Ortom beseeched the Lord, in His infinite mercy and compassion, to grant eternal rest to the souls of Mrs. Bridget Umoru and Mrs. Celestina Ogbakhena Aboda, concluding with a heartfelt “Amen.”
