The remains of the ace singer, Onyeka Onwenu, have been buried in Lagos State.
Onwenu, popularly known as the “Elegant Stallion”, died on July 30, 2024, after collapsing at an event in Lagos.
The funeral service held at the Fountain of Life Church in the Ilupeju area of Lagos State was followed by a private burial ceremony at Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi on Friday, August 30.
Family, friends, and well-wishers paid their last respects as the late singer’s body was lowered to the grave.

The sons of the late singer, Abraham and Tijani Ogunlende, expressed their gratitude for the love and support from the public.
They described their mother as a national treasure who impacted many lives through her music and various works.
Prominent persons, including Abia State Governor Alex Otti, and the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate in the 2023 election, Peter Obi, among others, attended the burial.
