Oluyamo urges Ondo electorate to vote for “Ayedatiwa continuity”

The people of Ondo State have been advised to return Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa of the APC to power at the polls this weekend to ensure continuing of good governance.

An industrialist and community leader in Ose local government Eng. Bayo Oluyamo said in a statement on Wednesday in Lagos that Ayedatiwa inherited a lot of ongoing projects from ⁷the late Governor Rotimi Akeredolu across the state.

He said Ayedatiwa should be reelected to complete the projects.

He said the governor should be allowed to complete the old projects along eith new ones.

He said from experience, new governments usually abandoned projects on ground to initiate new ones thereby wasting funds and denying their people, benefits of good governance.

In the press release signed by his media adviser, Gboyega Amoboye, Eng. Oluyamo mentioned some of the Akeredolu projects as road construction, across the state, education, health care, water and rural infrastructure and adequate funding of the three government owned Universities.

A core legacy of Akeredolu he said was provision of security and therefore advised Ayedatiwa never to relax on this but strengthen the Amotekun which has made Ondo State safe.

He commended Governor Ayedatiwa for his honesty of purpose by uniting the people and continuing with the good works of his predecessor.

Wishing him well at the polls, Oluyamo advised that on his re-election he should set up an action team of technocrats and professionals to develop a road map for good governance and never to rely on politicians alone as technocrats would offer a genuine advice that would facilate developments.

He also asked the Governor to set up a direct labour unit to focus on road maintenance along with new ones to reduce cost and ensure ayear-roundund motorable roads.

To minimize hardship due to fuel deregulation, Eng. Oluyamo the aid public transport system should be reinforced to provide scheme for students and pensioners.

The Governor he said should prioritise education, agriculture, rural development, health care, and especially health centres and maternity homes in every community.

He said rural infrastructure especially feeders roads would boost agriculture especially cocoa and food crops.

According to him, Ondo State has what it takes to become an industrial giant with bitumen and abundance of lime stones for cement factory, paints and glass.
