The Northern Nigeria Minorities Group (NNMG) has congratulated the Federal Republic of Nigeria and its citizens on the occasion of the 65th Independence Anniversary.
In a statement signed by Chief Jacob Edi Kakaki Bassange, Convener of NNMG, the group commended the resilience and unity of Nigerians, despite the challenges faced by the nation.
The group saluted the courage and vision of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, whose policies and leadership choices have demonstrated his commitment to the progress and stability of Nigeria.
NNMG also paid tribute to the country’s founding fathers and past leaders, whose sacrifices have contributed to Nigeria’s endurance.
The group called on all Nigerians to be purpose-driven, renew their faith in the Nigerian project, and work collectively towards building a brighter future for the country.

“As we celebrate 65 years of independence, we must not forget that what has held us together is far greater than the forces that seek to divide us,” the statement read.
NNMG expressed optimism about Nigeria’s future, citing the country’s diversity, resilience, and shared hope as key ingredients for progress.
The group wished Nigerians a happy 65th Independence Anniversary and urged them to remain united in their pursuit of a better Nigeria.
