No COVID-19 death in Nigeria in last 24 hours as NCDC reports 120 new cases, discharges 685

Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, on Sunday night, reported 120 new cases of COVID-19 infections in the country.

The figure has taken the countrywide infections’ figure, thus far, to 160,657.

According to the NCDC’s data, a total of 685 patients recovered and were discharged from various isolation centres in the country, adding that no persons died of COVID-19 complications.

Giving a breakdown of the fresh infections, the NCDC said Lagos State recorded the highest with daily figure -32, Rivers-25, Kaduna-20, Bayelsa-13, Kano-7, Jigawa-5, Borno-5, Abia-4, Oyo-3, Plateau-2, FCT-1, Ogun-1, Nasarawa-1 and Imo-1.

The Agency said the discharges on Sunday included 82 community recoveries in Lagos State managed in line with guidelines.

Total confirmed cases in Nigeria – 160,657
Total discharged cases – 145,399
Total deaths – 2,013
