The Nigerian National Petroleum Company (NNPC) Limited has dismissed reports
that the Company has reviewed ex-coastal, ex-depot and NNPC Retail prices.
In a statement signed by the Group General Manager, Group Public Affairs Division, Garba Deen Muhammad, the company said the report was not true.
“It is fake news obviously concocted to cause confusion and to undermine the progressive drive of the NNPC to restore normalcy to the market,” Muhammad said.
He called on the public and the industry operators, on particular, at all levels to disregard the mischievous act of misinformation.

Muhammad said NNPC Ltd remained focused and determined to reposition itself to provide value to its shareholders, while meeting its statutory obligation as provider of energy security for our country.
