The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) said they had received intelligence on movements of bandits from Zamfara State to Borno State for intensive Boko Haram training.
This was disclosed in a memo signed by Principal Staff Officer to the Comptroller General, ACG UA Auna.
He said based on the information, therefore, the CGIS had directed that all the concerned commands should intensify monitoring and surveillance around their areas of jurisdiction with the view to gathering information that will help safeguard life and property in the area.
