The Nigerian Inter-Religious Council (NIREC) has felicitated the Muslim Ummah on the occasion of the Eid-el-Kabir celebration.
In a statement signed by its Executive Secretary, Fr. Prof. Cornelius Omonokhua, the group prayed to the Almighty Allah (SWT) to accept their sacrifices and bless them abundantly.
The group also prayed that the period should be used for sober reflections and prayed to God to rid the country of the evil bedevilling it and bring about lasting peace and tranquillity in the polity.
