The National Emergency Management Agency, NEMA, has appointed the Deputy Director, Human Resources, Usman Muhammed Aji, as the new zonal coordinator of the Agency l’sNorth East zonal office Maiduguri.
According to Principal Information officer of NEMA, North East, Abdulkadir Ibrahim, the outgoing zonal coordinator Wagami Lydia Madu on Thursday, 17th February 2022, handed over the leadership at the conference hall of NEMA North East Maiduguri.
Ibrahim said the outgoing zonal coordinator who was appointed in February 2021 had been redeployed in NEMA HQ Abuja.
He said during the brief emotional ceremony, staff members of the zonal office expressed their readiness to extend the same level of dedication and support to the New zonal coordinator as requested by the outgoing zonal coordinator during her remarks where she also thanked the staff members for their support and the Director General Alhaji Mustapha Ahmed Habib and the entire management for the opportunity to serve.
In his remarks, Usman Aji on behalf of the staff members wished the outgoing zonal coordinator the best in her new posting.
