Senate President Godswill Akpabio on Wednesday said that the federal government would extend the implementation of the 2024 budget until June 30, 2025.
Akpabio announced this at the presentation of the 2025 budget.
He stated that the extension would soon be deliberated upon and presented to the president for assent.
He spoke on a day President Bola Tinubu was at the joint session of the National Assembly to present the 2025 budget.
