In the early hours of Saturday, an Ibadan-based radio presenter known as Baba Bintin collapsed and died on his way to work.
According to Daily Trust, the presenter died on his way to the Fresh FM station, where he was scheduled to appear on a show with the duo of Komolafe Olaiya and Olalomi Amole at Ayefele Music House, Challenge, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
On market opening days throughout the state and beyond, the late presenter usually relieved information.
According to reports, he was trekking from Amuloko, where he lived, to Challenge due to his inability to obtain cash for transportation to the studio.
Olalomi Amole and Komolafe Olaiya abruptly ended their Saturday morning programme entitked: “Oyin Adun” 20 minutes to the end of gjs programme when they received a call about Baba Bintin’s medical emergency.
