NAF special forces rescue kidnap victims in Kaduna

The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Special Forces conducted a successful night patrol near Birnin Gwari in Kaduna State, rescuing seven kidnapped victims, comprising six females and one male.

The rescue operation took place in the early hours of the same day.

Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, the Director of Public Relations and Information for the Nigerian Air Force, reported that during the interrogation of the female victims, they disclosed being kidnapped from Paikoro in Niger State.

On the other hand, the lone male victim stated that he was forcefully taken from Rijau in Niger State.

Upon spotting the NAF Special Forces, the terrorists hastily abandoned their victims and fled into a nearby forest.

The rescued victims were immediately taken to the NAF Medical facility at Birnin Gwari for assessment and care.

All the female victims were subsequently released, but the condition of the male victim is still being closely monitored.

In response to the commendable efforts of the troops, the Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hasan Abubakar, expressed his appreciation and called for intensified efforts to ensure the complete elimination of terrorists, kidnappers, and other criminal elements from all areas within Kaduna State and its environs.

The NAF continues its commitment to safeguarding the well-being and security of the citizens.
