As Nigerians celebrate Eid-El-Maulud, marking the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW), a group – Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria [MMPN] – has called for unity, compassion, and peace across the country.
In a press statement signed by Hajiya Medina Dauda Nadabo, FCT Chairperson, the group urged Muslim community to reflect on the timeless values of Islam, including love, kindness, and respect for all humanity.
The Muslim group emphasised the importance of interfaith harmony and cooperation in Nigeria’s diverse landscape.
It said that education and dialogue were highlighted as key tools for building bridges and fostering understanding among different communities.
