Nothing happens by accident, there is a purpose for everything. Fulfillment begins with finding out the purpose for living. The identified purpose helps you to value your life, to be focus and to design a framework for your life. Identifying your purpose in life also helps to correctly estimate the price required to fulfill it.
Prayer for success and fulfillment is not enough. After knowing what your journey will cost you, you must be resolved to pay the price if you want to reach your destination. The price of your purpose may not be cheap if your purpose is great. It may not be the same as the price people around you paid, you are unique so the price for your purpose will be different from others. Your value for your purpose drives you to pay the price. Characters such as Apostle Paul paid very great price for his purpose, but he paid it joyfully.
How Paul paid the price of his purpose Phil.3:1-14
i. He disregarded his own worth in the society. Sometimes the reason people do not pay the price of success is because the price will affect the perception or view of the society about them. They are ready to sacrifice their purpose to maintain people’s opinions about them. Your purpose is worth more than the opinions of ten thousand admirers. The impact of the opinions of men in your destiny is too small to stake your purpose for.
ii. He refused to allow his achievements to distract him from the pursuit of his purpose. The reason many do not move forward in life is because they over celebrated and idolized their former achievements, so they have no vision for the future and remain stagnant.
iii. He put the past behind him. Either good or bad, the past is past, let it go so you can move forward.
iv. He was ready to pay any price to achieve his purpose. There is a price for your purpose. The price may be high but you have it, yes have what it takes to achieve it. The only problem is how willing are you to pay the price and achieve your purpose?
