A 30-year-old man has allegedly been beaten to death by a woman’s husband whom he attempted to entice for amorous affairs.
The incident happened in Lumbu community, in Ningi Local Government Area of Bauchi State.
A report by security and counter insurgency analyst and blogger, Zagazola Makama, said that the incident occurred about 2:09 a.m. on Friday, October 17, 2025, when the deceased, identified as Sanusi Tinau, allegedly visited the house of a yet-to-be-identified man to entice his wife.
“The husband reportedly attacked Tinau, beating him to a state of unconsciousness before fleeing the scene,” Zagazola reported.
The report added: “Police operatives responded promptly, evacuating the victim to the General Hospital, Ningi, where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.”
Efforts are reportedly ongoing to apprehend the fleeing suspect as investigation continues.
