The Police Command in Nasarawa State has said that it has rescued the remaining four pupils out of the total number of six who were kidnapped at gunpoint on January 20, 2023.
The Police had earlier secured the release of two out of the six children abducted from the Local Education Authority, (LEA) primary school in Doma local government of Nasarawa State.
In a statement signed on Friday by Police Public Relations Officer, Ramhan Nansel, on behalf of the Commissioner of Police
Nasarawa State Command, Maiyaki Muhammed Baba, said that the rescue was effected via collaborative efforts with hunters.
The Commissioner of Police thanked the people of Nasarawa for their support.
Meanwhile, the children had already been taken to the hospital for medical examination awaiting their reunion with their parents.

“In continuation of the search to rescue the remaining four pupils that were earlier abducted on 20/1/2023 at LEA Primary school, Alwaza; on 3/2/2023 about 0700hrs, detachment of joint security operatives in collaboration with Hunters rescued the four pupils at Doka village, Doma LGA
“The victims, Awazi Emmanuel, Success Ogah, Dominion Alhaji and Success Emmanuel have been taken to the hospital for medical examination and shall be reunited with their parents.
“The Commissioner of Police, CP Maiyaki Muhammad Baba, thanked members of the public for their support thus far.
“He urged them to assist the police with relevant information that will assist in arresting the perpetrators of the dastardly act.”
