Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has commended the efforts of the Nigerian Army in the fight against insurgency and banditry especially in the North Eastern part of Nigeria.
Makinde gave the commendation on Monday while receiving the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Tukur Yusuf Buratai, on a courtesy visit at the Government House, Agodi, Ibadan.
The governor assured the delegation that the state would continue to support the Nigeria Army in the state, as they collaborate with other security agencies towards having a secured environment for the economic development of Oyo State.
