Like his predecessor, Babatunde Ode, the Chairman of Onigbongbo Local Council Development Area, Oladotun Olakanle, has died in office.
The sudden death of the LCDA boss, who was last seen at a funeral party on Thursday, became public in the early hours of Saturday.
According to reports Olakanle, 54, was at the burial party of a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Dr. Adesola Taiwo, who was the Chief Executive Officer of Adefemi Taiwo Hospitals, on October 31, 2024.
