The Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has directed that the enforcement of the 24-hr curfew in the state should begin at 9 pm Tuesday, October 20.
The government had earlier announced 4 pm as start tine for the curfew.
The shift, accirding to the state governor, was to enable people who have been stuck in traffic to get to their destinations.
Meanwhile, security operatives have reportedly swooped on protesters at the Lekki Toll Gate.
Guns were shot indiscriminately by armed soldiers to disperse protesters.
At least three persons were reportedly shot while several sustained injuries in the aftermath of the use of guns.
