Lagos discharges 9 foreign nationals, 47 other COVID-19 patients


Lagos State Government said 56 patients of Coronavirus had been discharged from various isolation centres across the State.

The State incident commander, Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, announced this during the update on the pandemic outbreak on Sunday

The Governor said the patients included 12 females and 44 males, including 9 foreign nationals.

He said they were discharged from the state isolation facilities to reunite with the society.

“The patients; 25 from Gbagada, 5 from Agidingbi, 8 from Eti-Osa (LandMark) 3 from Onikan and 15 from LUTH Isolation Centres were discharged after full recovery and testing negative to COVID19,” Sanwo-Olu.

He said “this brings to 1897, the number of #COVID19 confirmed cases that have been successfully managed and discharged from our isolation facilities.”

The Governor reminded residents to adhere strictly to all public advisories given by government, adding that the #COVID19 was real
