Joyous crowd of party supporters on Thursday welcomed Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, the presidential candidate of the New Nigeria People Party, into Asaba.
The streets were packed with enthusiastic supporters riding on tricycles, buses, and Okada bikes, eager to catch a glimpse of Kwankwaso.
The excitement was so palpable that several vehicles, including three in the state governorship candidate’s convoy, were unfortunately damaged in the rush.
But the real showstopper was when the Asagba palace was completely overflowed with supporters, a clear sign of the overwhelming acceptance and support for Kwankwaso for president and Dr Goodnews Agbi, the NNPP’s governorship candidate, for the state number one post, among the Arewa community in Delta State, whose votes will be crucial in determining the outcome of the elections.
It’s clear that Kwankwaso and the NNPP have won the hearts of the people in Delta State and beyond.
